Time For An Update
Yeah... I'm just that lazy.
Anyway. There *is* a reason for my lack of art updates. I'm sure those of you who have me on your DevWatch were pretty irritated when I submitted half a dozen banners.
I can hear it now... "wtf is this crap!? Wrens-Lament?? aargh!! *tears at stuff*" lol. Yeah, anyway.
I'm having some "artistic issues". If you can call them that. It's sort of like... artist's block + this overwhelming feeling of "omg I suck!"
Yeah, that's a good way to explain it.I read this really awesome webcomic / manga dealie. It's about DDR and such. [link] Lots of fun. Yukon Makoto (Agent K) is an amazing artist. Ever since that Chibi Elf pic I like so much I've just been kinda stuck. The more I try to draw and get unstuck the more I wonder how I was ever able to draw in the first place.
Pretty depressing, and I hate it. So I've diverted my attention and time to playing DDR. Of course I'm doing Light mode in MAX2 and flip-flopping between Light and Standard on MAX, which doesn't make me feel much better considering all my friends do Heavy mode or 8 foot Standards and I don't / can't.
But oh well... to each their own.I'm frantically working on getting some stuff drawn that I feel is post-worthy and / or color worthy.
So be expecting to see some stuff from me sometime quasi-soon! Hopefully I'll be able to get something on to paper that's decent. We'll see what comes out, though... </wrennish>
